Unique wallets are a plenty. This is a new one that I came across today. I don’t think it’s a new design, but it’s new to me. It is called an acordian wallet. It is basically a wallet that when it lies flat will open up and have 15-20 slot like pockets for cards and such to go in. The design is actually not all that odd, and I would say even has some practical value. So although it might be listed as a weird wallet, it is fair to say that this wallet is more unique than it is weird. I think that this wallet is creative and has alot of potential in some circles. The one listed at amazon.com has a zipper. This makes sense because of the nature of the wallet. Keeping everything together and keeping things from falling out of the wallet are important. But this wallet is unique and unusual so it gets a write up. The wallet comes in traditional leather. And although the wallet is not cheap, it retails at $30, it is not super expensive or anything. The wallet on amazon.com is made by the Storus Corporation. They have been in business for over twenty years making innovative and creative items - such as the accordian wallet! I am not sure how many folks will be running out and grabbing a wallet like this, but I am sure that there is a niche market for it. The wallet is a little bigger than a traditional bi-fold or tr-fold wallet. The reason is because of the extra material to create the accordian pockets that are on the insdie of the wallet. But I would for sure recommend the accordian wallet to anyone who is a little more anal about their stuff, because the wallet does such a great job of compartmentalizing all of your things.
